JULY 2025
On July 1 I always display my Canada flag - it’s hung the right way around when you look at it from the outside! A rather quirky hotel room in Sheffield Ronnie and I stayed in the night before my birthday and we went out with Pauline to our favourite Italian restaurant. I had my hair cut at Pauline's the next day. On my (71st!) birthday Ronnie and I went to the local pub which does wonderful food for dinner. The next day Linda took us out for afternoon tea which was delicious. On Monday July 7 Ronnie drove us to Southwold where we stayed two nights as Pauline and family were staying there for their annual week. Melanie (the youngest daughter) was over from Australia with her family. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see Pauline’s son and partner as they were only there for the weekend.
