MY FIRST MONTH IN KIRTON LINDSEY

I spent a couple of days with Pauline in Sheffield the other week and we had a lovely walk through one of the parks.

These are photos from one of my new local walks in Kirton.

One of my neighbour’s chickens keeps visiting my garden and I keep having to send her back as I don’t want her scratching in the flower beds that Linda D has helped me with!

My friend Linda D’s lovely cottage and wildflower garden.

My friends Lynn and Linda B visiting one day.

I think this cat must know I’m missing mine as he/she came for some affection one evening I was sitting with a G&T in the garden!

My friend Carole, who lives in London, came up last weekend with delicious pink champagne!  I took her to Gainsborough Old Hall which is over five hundred years old and one of the best preserved medieval manor houses in England.

I visited Lincoln again this past week. We took the bus which goes around the villages and had a lovely tour of the cathedral before walking down Steep Hill.

Linda B showed me another local walk around a reservoir.

I just got a good deal on some paving slabs last week and will put them into the grass soon so that the lawnmower won’t catch on the!

Pauline was over for the weekend and we sat outside in the garden in the sun for quite a while in the afternoon.

I have my 134th and 135th eye injections tomorrow and Wednesday and then it’s off to Spain (near Torrevieja) on Thursday for 15 days!  I am so blessed.

Hope you and yours are well.  Thank you for checking in.
